As you know from the last post, Jesse has entered a contest where the purpose is to find new freelance talent to create the monsters, villains, and storylines for a Dungeons and Dragons type game. The winner of the contest gets commissioned to write a 32-page adventure module. This is very exciting. Out of what we guess to be over 1000 entries this year, Jesse was selected by the judges as one of the top 32 entries. Jesse has made the top 8. We're now in the next round, where 8 become 4. A winner is voted from that top four.
Last round, Jesse created the statistcs for a monster. This round, he had to create a fight location, along with a corresponding map, and use one of the monsters from the previous round. I think his bridge location is pretty awesome... Click on this to read his entry.

There are a lot of reasons why Jesse wants to win this thing, not the least of which is that he'd love to put all of his years of general dork-itude to work for him. Also, when Jesse was younger, his father once told Jesse that nobody would ever pay him to know this stuff; I'm sure you love your parents, but isn't it delicious when you prove them wrong? Help Jesse taste that deliciousness!!!

Look, Jesse is just freaking awesome; You all know that. This is his life-long dream: to be able to write, and to be able to create content for role-playing games.
