Jesse needs your help!

I'm a bad mommy. I know. No Christmas. No New Years... No updates on his 9 month check up or monthly portraits!!! I promise to rectify some of this, and soon. More on why I've been "too busy" to post these past two months later, but no excuses for no December posts...

Anyway, Jesse needs your help. As most of you know, Jesse's an avid role playing gamer. This usually means Dungeons and Dragons, but due to geekery that need not be discussed here, there's another company who creates content for role playing, called Paizo. Paizo has a contest every year to find the next "RPG Superstar." The purpose of the contest is to find new freelance talent to create the monsters, villains, and storylines for the game. The winner of the contest gets commissioned to write a 32-page adventure module. This is very exciting.

Out of what we guess to be over 1000 entries this year, Jesse was selected by the judges as one of the top 32 entries. Jesse has made the top 16. We're now in the next round, where 16 are whittled down to 8, then 4. A winner is voted from that top four.

Here's where you can help - Jesse needs your votes.

There are a lot of reasons why Jesse wants to win this thing, not the least of which is that he'd love to put all of his years of general dork-itude to work for him. Also, when Jesse was younger, his father once told Jesse that nobody would ever pay him to know this stuff; I'm sure you love your parents, but isn't it delicious when you prove them wrong? Help Jesse taste that deliciousness!!!
