Dancin' Machine! Watch him get down...

The long-awaited update! I promise I'll get to some of the backlog of posts and pictures you know you want to see... 


For now though, Jackson's babbling - every now and then a word comes through. His first word was "cat." We're working on "Jedi" now... And, he's walking for real! He's been taking steps and cruising for about two months or so, but not with confidence. Now he can walk across a room without holding on to anything. 


Jackson also loves music - he does this little shimmy-dance thing and flails his arms when he hears some of his favorite tunes. Trust me, we're working on the 80's pop music love, but for now it's the "ABC's" that really gets him excited.


Because Jackson loves music so much, we signed him up for a "Makin' Music" session this summer (thanks to Mom-Mom and Uncle David/ Aunt Jen for subsidizing Jackson's budding talent). In the top picture, Jackson's thinking, "What this music class needs.... is more cowbell!"
