Trimming the Tree with Lemon

It's been a while since we've had a pure Lemon update. You may recall this picture, which gave you an idea of her size. Tonight she was laying in the perfect position to use the remote control again as a demonstration of Lemon's growth. As you can see, she's grown! She's so much larger than her kitten pictures - I look back on those pictues, and it feels like so long ago that she was sitting on Jon's head...

Lemon's now eight months old. She had "the operation" at six months, and can now no longer bear feline children. She had begun to nibble at the incision, so she had to wear the cone of shame.

Today we decided to get out our holiday decorations. Unfortunately we can't do a real Christmas tree; the first time we had one, Oliver chose to mark it. So, we bought an artificial tree, which I guess is better than no tree at all. Lemon was very curious in the proceedings. After we got the tree put together and in its' spot, Lemon chose to take it upon herself to trim the tree.

Some bad news though - for whatever reason, Lemon has taken to marking territory. She's chosen our fake Morris chair, a corner of the living room sofa, and unfortunately the foot of our bed. We tried all sorts of "no spray" products, but none have worked. We have her on kitty Prosac, but just a few days ago (after not marking for a few weeks) she marked the Morris chair again. I think it may have been because we weren't completely able to get her scent out of the cushions, because she hasn't marked the sofa... If anyone has any ideas, we'd appreciate it.
