Jackson Encounters a Cougar

Jesse attended University of Maryland for graduate school. He knew Duffy, who had been childhood and lifelong friends with Jake. Jake attended U of M for undergraduate school, and became friends with a whole bunch of peeps in the theater department. As mentioned earlier, it is through the Duffy connection that we're friends with Jake, Ann, J. and Kat (who live in Maryland), and Carrie J. Cole, Ph.D.

Anyway, Carrie is generally recognized as pretty darned great amongst our crowd... she's funny, straightforward, smart, witty, and generally all-around awesome. She just recently defended her dissertation, too.

Unfortunately, she teaches and lives in Arizona. We were hoping that we could convince her to move back east with the promise of a very handsome and single young man. Although they did hit it off quite well, alas, Jack's adorableness was not enough to lure her away from family and a great job...
