More Mom-Mom Time!

Mom-Mom came over to spend some time with the Jackal... Jack was in an especially fussy mood, but Mom-Mom loves him anyway.



My mom also got to meet Lemon... While Mom-Mom rocked Jackson, Lemon came up to investigate. Toes are not safe in this household, a fact Mom-Mom learned the hard way...






Momu also stopped by to drop off some delicious chocolate chip cookies... Jack will have to wait until he gets teeth to enjoy those! Two grandmoms, no waiting!




Mom-Mom bounced Jack on her leg to get him to stop crying, which he did for a bit. How big is Jack? "Soooo biiig!" Then, after he pooped himself out of his diaper during dinner, and Daddy took Jack upstairs to get a bath, Mom-Mom rocked him and sang to him. That's the picture at the top of the post. This song is very, very special... it's the song MY Mom-Mom sang to my mom and her brothers when they were babies. When my Mom-Mom was dying, my mom would visit her in intensive care, and at one point asked her if she'd like my mother to sing to her... My mom sang this song to her...
