Jackson is beginning to understand conversations. He knows that if you talk to him, he is supposed to respond. He’s getting quite good at vocalizing vowel sounds, and has started to give us the occasional consonant. In particular, when he gets upset he’ll give us a “ma ma” or two. I’m trying to temper my excitement about the “ma ma”– I know he’s not calling for me so much as he’s just vocalizing sounds. Still though! I’ll take it!
